Innovative & simple, our BatPac is a problem solver.

Lead time: IN STOCK

For the first time since launch, the BatPac is in stock and available for immediate shipment!  No waiting!

The housing is 3D printed from tough ABS.  It sits securely atop a standard RBC2 battery,

connects to the tabs on the battery, and provides safe, secure power distribution.

It only adds 3/8″ to the overall height of the battery, and zero to the width or length:

The brief video, below, explains the device:

(the second half of the video discusses the Solar BatPac)

The included mini blade fuse protects your gear, and is replaceable without tools.

There are two Anderson Power Pole pigtails…  one is fused, the other is not.

The fused pigtail is the one to connect to your radio, RC vehicle, USB charger, etc.

The un-fused pigtail is for charging the battery, running gear that does not need fused power, or connecting another battery in parallel.

The embedded volt meter shows you the voltage of the battery, and includes a recessed on/off switch.

There are four thin velcro straps that wrap around your battery, holding the BatPac securely in place.

Here is a review done by one of our customers of an early-generation BatPac.  Nice explanation and demonstration:

This BatPac will ONLY fit onto a RBC2 battery.  These are very common batteries, often used in emergency lighting, large scooters, and computer back up systems.

An excellent example of an SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) battery is THIS ONE from Amazon.

A smart upgrade is a ‘Drop In’ LiFePo4 battery.  This gives you the benefit of the amazing LiFePo4 chemistry in a battery that is designed to work with standard SLA chargers.  Brilliant. One of the best we have tested (and use ourselves) is assembled here in the USA.  It has an impressive 10 amp hours of stored energy.  Available HERE from Amazon.

The BatPac is 5.9″ x 2.5″ x 0.5″ and weighs just 3.1 ounces!

  3. Received my Battpac RBC2 about a month ago. A simple little product that once you get it, you realize how you ever got by without it. Works flawlessly, I need more….

  4. I have been using 2 Bat Pacs with 2 7AH SLA Batteries connected in parallel to power a 10 watt dual band radio mounted on my mobility scooter for almost a year now. They work great! Connecting them in parallel involves nothing more than connecting the unfused Anderson PowerPoles to each other, (just turn one of the batteries 180 degrees, that makes it super easy. I constructed a simple PowerPole “Y’ to connect the 2 unfused connectors. This allows me to use an SLA charger to charge both batteries at the same time. Everything, the radio, the batteries and the charger all fit easily into the basket that came with the scooter. I have used this system at public service events with my ARES/RACES group and after all day operation the batteries were still going strong. You can look on my web site http://www.n1gy.com for an article about the JetStream JT-270M radio. This will show you picturesa and text about the set-up.

  5. I bought my BatPac to use for SW DXing outside. It is such a great product and saves me time and hassles of hooking up bare wires from my SLA battery to my powered Loop Antenna, and my SDR. I really like the voltage indicator that’s built in. This is an awesome product and well worth the cost.
